Coupled with brioche buns from Dench, you'll be making the most delicious burgers right in your own kitchen. Simply add any other toppings of your choice and your favourite condiments.
What you'll need
Olive oil, salt, your favourite condiments.

1. Prepare vegetables
Slice the tomato, separate the lettuce, thinly slice the onion and set aside. -
2. Carmelise onions
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan over low heat. Cook the onion with a pinch of salt for 10-15 minutes until they soften and caramelise. -
3. Cook the meat patties
In a barbecue, cast iron pan, or non-stick frying pan - cook the patties on a high heat for 4-5 minutes each side. Light charring is desirable if cooking over barbecue. -
4. Construct the burgers
Optionally, lightly toast the burger buns for 1 minute in the barbeque, or under the grill. Construct your burgers and add condiments of your choice.
