We asked them a few questions to get to know them a little better:
How did you get started?
Founded in 1977 at the Vic Market. Started as a small hole in the wall shop run by Mom, Pops and kids. Gradually worked up to our flagship store in Abbotsford. Vic Market store has since closed to make way for apartments but we may be back one day!
Where do you source most of your products/produce from?
China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam.
What makes you different from other similar stores?
We are fortunate enough to have a great location with enough floorspace to fill with great asian products. In a word, Variety. A lot of it. We also have a HUGE range of vegan/vegetarian products.
What's your favourite meal?
Can't go wrong with a good Laksa!
